Geez, that sucks. It's cool that DeviantArt is developing that software and that someone took the time to contact you though. Unfortunately that sort of art theft is a bit more common on the uncurated sites like Opensea. On the one hand people don't like gatekeepers because crypto is supposed to be open, but the downside is when it's totally open you also let in the crooks.
