I'll just throw my two cents in here that I think there needs to be an in-between term for cases like this. I call it a ripoff, which is basically an uncredited study.

Don't thing it falls under the severity of plagiarism, but definitely feel it should be discouraged in general, and in OCA this will result in flagging and muting.
