Dawn is the 3rd piece in my Synthesis series. This series, in general is about the merging of my 2D art and my 3D art. In all these pieces I take a 2D painting and merge it with 3D volumetrics. You can think of them like digital clouds or smoke.
In the previous two, I'd already posted the paintings that were used on Hive in the past, but this one came from a new painting I did recently.
You might notice the colors and proportions are totally different, and that's on purpose. I end up doing a lot of manipulation to make the final piece look how I want. Usually pushing things to be more vivid and punchy vs a more subdued painting that's based more on observation.

Lots of people said the NFT market was a bubble that would pop, and it seems like it might be more accurate to say it's deflating a bit vs popping which I think is a good thing. The prices we were seeing before certainly couldn't last forever, but I'm glad there hasn't been some harsh sentiment change and I think it's more like things are just calming down. I think that's long term bullish for the space and I'm looking forward to where things go in the future.
