At this point in time in our Steem journey we're not at euphoric highs and abundance, but it reminds me of something Andreas Antonopolous said in a recent interview which was that the building doesn't happen in the booms, it happens in the winter.

Steem is in a transitional period right now, we have all these cool new tribes/communities forming, a hard fork with some pretty dramatic changes on the horizon, and a renewed effort of Steemit Inc. to deliver on long broken promises of Communities and SMT's.

I know the price of Steem sucks right now, but if I had to choose, a high price based on PURE speculation and vaporware, which is what a ton of the coins above us on CMC are, or a low price, but a ton of development and applications that are already useful, battle tested, and adapting, I'd choose the latter.

Steem Leo is a tribe created by @khaleelkazi and he's been talking about getting it started up since PAL came out. Super excited to see it off the ground and I wish it the best of luck. I've already staked my 18k LEO and I'll be using it to curate on the platform.
