Hello, my friends, this is my first posting! I go by the name Mickapew. I'm a freelancer voxel artist and currently working at The Sandbox game /https://www.sandbox.game/en/. I wanted to start a series of posts showing people my voxel work and potentially earning some extra money to help fund a game project I'm working on.

In this post, I will be showing my NFT Art Gallery asset I made for this month's theme "Buildings". I got a task to make a long facade. As NFTs are bloody hot right now, I thought hmm let's make an NFTs Art Gallery that displays the art but is an actual NFT.

STEP 1: I block out all the sections in the asset. The asset is broken up into sections to allow for the player's collision box in the game maker engine.

Step 2: I start applying markers to help me with detail layout and scaling. The character is usually (64 voxels in height).

Step 3: Once I have the asset prepare, I then start applying some texture and flat colours.

Final Step: Here I add all the textures, drawing in pixel style, directly onto the model.

FINISHED: I think this turned out nice. I really enjoyed making the small art pieces. And the modern design of the facade really pops.
