The other day, an advertisement popped up on some random social media platform about a classic car meet that was going to take place here in my city. Nothing grand, just a gathering in the parking lot of a large supermarket, organized by a few people who are passionate about the hobby. I can't say I'm a huge car enthusiast in general, but classic cars are something that can definitely catch my attention, even if my admiration for them is only occasional.
I decided to take my son and my girlfriend there to look around for a while, and it was a lot of fun, especially for my girlfriend, who is passionate about a 1970s Puma. We found three of them at the event alone. I liked the red one more, while she was in love with the yellow one, and we jokingly discussed which color we would buy. In the end, we decided that each of us would have one in a different color.
Actually, my favorite car is a 1990s Land Rover Defender and, as it happened, there was one at the event too. But I ended up really falling in love with the customized Volkswagen Kombis, and I genuinely had this sudden realization that I should buy one and turn it into a motorhome someday. We'll see. Dreaming is still something without limits, even for someone who doesn't know that much about the subject. Maybe the time for me to start thinking about it more seriously and getting closer to actually making it happen will come soon.
But anyway, it was really nice to see so many cool cars. Classic cars really are awesome, and it's strange to think that some of the cars that are now considered classics were brand-new when I was a kid. In other words, I'm really getting old. I'm starting to notice it in the details haha But that's it. I just wanted to share a little bit about this Saturday outing!

Esses dias apareceu para mim uma propaganda em uma rede social qualquer sobre um encontro de carros antigos que aconteceria aqui na minha cidade. Nada grandioso, apenas um encontro em um estacionamento de um grande supermercado, organizado por alguns apaixonados por esse hobby. Confesso não ser um grande apaixonado por carros de um modo geral, mas carros antigos são algo que conseguem atrair minha atenção, mesmo que por admiração mais esporádica.
Decidi levar meu filho e minha namorada até lá para apreciar um pouco e foi bem divertido, principalmente para minha namorada, que é apaixonada por um Puma da década de 70. Só nesse evento, encontramos 3. Eu gostei mais do vermelho, já ela é apaixonada pelo amarelo e discutimos, em tom de brincadeira, qual cor iríamos comprar e, por fim, decidimos que cada um teria um de uma cor.
Na verdade, meu carro favorito é uma Land Rover Defender da década de 90 e, por acaso, tinha uma por aqui também no evento, mas eu fiquei mesmo apaixonado pelas Kombis customizadas e realmente me deu um estalo de que eu devo comprar uma e transformar em um motorhome, algum dia. Vamos ver. Sonhar ainda é algo sem limites, até mesmo para alguém que não entende tanto do assunto, talvez meu momento de pensar sobre isso, com mais proximidade seja em breve.
Mas, enfim, foi bem legal poder ver tantos carros legais. Os antigos são realmente muito legais e pensar que alguns desses carros que agora são chamados de antigos eram novidade quando eu era um garoto. Ou seja, estou envelhecendo mesmo. Estou percebendo isso nos detalhes haha Mas é isso, gostaria de compartilhar um pouco desse passeio de sábado!
