The world expect so much from fathers in a way that maybe it was too much to take in: The pressure of being the strong and solid pillar of home, the obligation to feed and provide for the family and the responsibility to set an example on how to live a life quintessentially could be overwhelming that even how hard they try, they still screwed up and turned inside out.

My father could have hurt me (often unintentionally) in so many unbearable ways but one things for sure—He loved and is continuously loving us, his family as if we’re the most precious thing in the whole wide world.

All his faults and failures mean nothing to me now. I am just so thankful that I have him and that’s the only thing that matters.

Happy father’s day Pa! Ay-ayaten ka.💕

P.S. To my Brothers Kuya Mark and Nikko! Happy Fathers Day! I know my nephews our lucky yo have you (because they were able to have me as their aunt. HAHAHA🤣) Don’t forget that you are and forever will be great fathers no matter what.

”A father’s tears and fears are unseen, his love is unexpressed, but his care and protection remains as a pillar of strength throughout our lives.”—Ama H. V.
