Today I want to show you how to make this mini avocado piñata. It is something that is very in trend lately, more for the little ones in the house, since it serves as a small party favors or gift, and since they can be made of the design they most want, it is a great idea to give sweets to children and have fun with your favorite character. I made it with cardboard boxes that I reuse, but you could buy cardboard especially for this.
What we will need for our mini piñata is:
- Cardboard boxes
- Liquid silicone
- 2 Green crepe paper
- 1 yellow card
- Stamen
- Pair of scissors
- 1 exact or cuter
Luego, trazamos la forma en una de las caras de la caja de cartón y recortamos; debemos sacar dos piezas idénticas ya que esta será el cuerpo de nuestra piñata.
On a sheet we mark the molds of the piñata that we will make and cut it, in my case, I decided to make a small avocado.
Then, we trace the shape on one of the sides of the cardboard box and cut out; We must remove two identical pieces since this will be the body of our piñata.
In another box, we mark what will be the strip that will join the whole piñata. With the help of a ruler we measure 8 cm wide of a strip that should be approximately 80 cm long. With an exact one we cut the cardboard completely and once we have it ready, we roll it in this way to make it easier for us to glue it between the two faces.
After all the pieces are ready, we proceed to glue them. We take one of the sides of the avocado, and we put silicone on the edges to little by little sticking the cardboard strip, until it completely surrounds it. With a marker we outline what will be the opening where we will put the sweets, and with the help of a cutter we cut it.
We put silicone on the edge of the strip to this stick the remaining piece, until we are left in this way.
To line the avocado, we take the crepe paper, and cut strips 5cm wide, then with the scissors we make fringes without cutting until the end.
We put a little silicone on the base and glue the crepe paper little by little in this way. We do the same with the rest until it is completely covered.
On the cardboard we mark what will be the center of the avocado, carefully cut it and stick it on the piñata. With a little brown foami we will make what will be the avocado seed and stick it in the center. We do the same with the pieces of the face
Por último, pegamos una tira de estambre con foami para sostener la piñata.
Finally, we glue a strip of yarn with foam to hold the piñata.
