Indeed peer pressure is not a joke and have led some people to their grave and i would be following the contest guidelines.
How did i handled something i was pressured to do
Indeed, pressure is not comforting and i always don't rush myself even am being pressured to the highest level, because first things first, i ask myself, is this safe for me??, What are the side effects of me taking this decision, and if is not okay by me i would boldly say without feeling prejudice.
**What made me to say no even when others are trying to influence **
Just as like i said before, my "no" to any pressure to influence me is depending after i have checked the outcome and if it's not good by me and does not support my vision or goals i would back off quickly.
How did you keep with those friends or circles that kept inviting you to do something they're doing, even though i know it was wrong.
Those friends that keep on coming back for me to do what they're are doing are very diffcult and can be very insolent, so to keep them off, i don't have to be ruthless but i just have to avoid them, The other day one of my coursemate that usually smokes and pressuring to have a 'draw' but i resisted.so in other to avoid him if he comes to my house he keep on knocking on the door and i won't answer him. I kept doing that until he finally gave up.So i think the best i do is to avoid them and stay far as possible.
What lessons have you learned from peer pressure and how it has helped me learn about myself.
Lessons i have learnt from peer pressure is the value of me saying no and i discovered it takes you nothing to decline any offer from any of your friends and this helps you bulid the right circle of friends and it helped me discovered that decision making lies in me and right to accept or decline any offer.
