Inverted Flames

Self inflicted pains
This is a piece of my reality
Shame and anger makes up for half of my anatomy
Praying for death when it's not my time is like me being so selfish

Here comes another day to smile
Trying to be good and not overly righteous
Just like love, hate is a wonderful thing
It is right to hate what is bad and right to love what is good

I want to survive
But I am ready to die for the truth
I need to survive
But when death comes, do I have the power to say no

Death throw blows not to your face
He only strikes the air
You are happy that he missed you
Boom! Your spirit leaves you
And all that's left is just your last breathe
Now you are lifeless, bones and ashes
Then your memories decay

Consumed by inverted flames
The cold burns me the heat freeze me
I know I could own myself
If I have Selfcontrol to hate and to burn my flesh

Then I will be new again
Filled with spirit and inverted flames
