So a couple of updates on my newly discovered build site before I get off to work....
A peek at the build style. The build calls for 4 octogons in rotation around the site, connected to a 5th in the center, plus 4 diamond connector sections connected on the exposed diagonal opening shown on the right edge of the current octogon. This will make more sense when I show you the completed section.
I played around with the roof pieces most of the night last night and finally came across a way to make a seamless roof at 45 degree turns. Roof should accually be on the second level, but need a temporary base so that I can tear down the starter house. I will tear the roof down and move it up a level when I build the second level.
