I recently uploaded two new videos to YouTube, and I would like to tell you a bit about them.
In the Gardens of Lismosyni
In the Gardens of Lismosyni was composed/realized on March 22nd, 2016. By sheer coincidence I uploaded the video to YouTube on March 22nd, 2020.
In Greek "lismosyni"(λησμοσύνη) means "forgetfulness." The piece is about someone falling into paradisaical, dream-like world - a world where the problems of "real-life" don't exist and thus can't hurt or affect him - and exploring this new, peaceful world. The closing measures of the piece represent memories of the "real world" being swept away entirely.
Touch
I created this piece last November (2019). As the title suggests Touch is a musical depiction of the sensations of affection and passion.
