Hey guys,
Exploring
Another day in Positano, Italy. This time I ventured out on the road towards the hillside, trying to captivate all of its beauty. The first picture we have here is right before I entered Positano. At first glance, looking out of the taxi window, I was speechless. I gave the driver a few extra euro's to stop on the side of the road for this picture and boy was it worth it. It is positioned at the centre of the Gulf of Salerno, with houses and villas built on terraces, amongst beautiful gardens with palm trees, orange and lemon groves.
This second picture, sorry for the slight overexposure, but I wanted to document the hillside. A majority of property owners in this area grow their own fruits and vegetables, just like you see here. When I was eating at a local ristorante you could taste the freshness. Compared to The United States, where I was born, it has a completely unique aroma and freshness.
Hotel
Accommodations in Positano are almost exclusively upscale. A variety of villas are available for rent in the town and the surrounding countryside. Three-, four- and five-star hotels are perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea or or tucked away in the crooked streets. Several guest houses and family-run pensions offer bed and breakfast-style accommodations in small, colorful houses. In this picture you can see the different hotel's built into the side of the mountain. I stayed at Hotel Villa Gabrisa which was a 10 minute walk down to the beach. You can see it pictured here in red! What a view.
I would like to remind everyone that I own the rights to all of these pictures. If you would be interested in acquiring them, I would be more than happy to send them to you. Please comment below. I want to hear you! #steem #power #upvote #busy #life #journal #entertainment #love
