When you're right in a world full of mystery
Anyone's word are too easy to believe
You're innocent and clueless of the rules
Playing the games looking like a fool

Cause we all live in a cliche reality
Playing our roles of a twisted destiny
So tell me what I'm supposed to do
When I always seen to be falling for words

Grade seven, age eleven, the perfect match
Up on your knee, you're on the watch
Trying to figure out the trick up his sleeve
But ending up once again deceived

And I realized it's all just broken dreams
Cause the thing I know ain't what the seem
Yet I keep coming back for more
Even when my heart's bleeding on the floor

Now I'm almost fit to sing sweet nineteen
Now it's just an old unfamiliar feelings
Repeated history's all I'm seeing
So I'm just going through the motions

Being swept away by nostalgia and emotions
Cause when you're nineteen, people keep claiming the love you just to get between your legs
One need not to believe them
Because I know I got a better life ahead
