I joined freewrite community not because I especially like this format, but because it offers (offered) weekly short story contests. For me, this is a more native format for it takes me at least a couple of days of thinking before I can Iron out the details in my mind.

Five minutes by far doesn't allow me to produce a piece of writing of any actual value.

In addition, a story written to a contest stirs the attention of many more readers than if I would write exactly the same story and post if from my account.

Thus, I'd like to ask you a question as you seem to be so knowledgeable in the inner workings of Steemit and at the same time are so friendly person and a good writer.

1. Can anyone post their own story in this club?
2. Why can't you or someone in the club write a prompt for say monthly contest? I don't even care for the prize, but rather for a format. )))
