I also never fit in. I am not black but still, somehow I don't. Though I could never brag about excellence in behavior or appearance.))) I don't touch anyone, but I kind of flow outside of everyone else' existence, separated by a glass wall. I have no talent for small talk so I don't talk. And if I start a conversation, an interlocutor immediately senses that I say something wrong, that I don't fit in. By now I don't know whether it's a wrong topic or a manner in which I speek.
Eventually, I stopped trying. Oh, what the hell! That's how it is... so that's how it is. One can live without fitting in. )))
