Its amazing what some people think is acceptable means of transporting things sometimes. Every now and again someone documents the ridiculousness of some of these events.
This is one such event. someone thought it was a good idea to try and transport a small car on a box trailer with a couple of planks of wood under the front wheels and the chassis keeping the balancing act together.
While there were a couple of fed through the bumper bar helping out there is no way that this was a safe means of getting the small vehicle to its destination. realistically car trailer hire is available all over the place and can be as competitive as $50 for the day.
Its the last shot of the rear of this set up that really brings this whole thing home on exactly how dangerous this was. the timbers could have easily slipped out of snapped under the load and the straps would have easily ripped the bumper off should the car have slipped from the trailer. if the strap was put through the radiator support it may have stopped the car from detaching completely , but having a trailer and a vehicle fighting for the "center position" behind the tow car does not seem like a safer outcome.... what i really wanna know is how they got it op there in the first place ;)
