Today is Friday. It is the 19th day in this month of perfection - the month of July. How is your day going? I wish you a prosperous Friday today. I wish myself the same. May our day today deliver to us the desires and expectations of our hearts.
Earlier, I referred to this month as the month of perfection. In our religious philosophy, we refer to the number 7 as the number of perfection. Now, you don't have to believe or accept that, so don't be offended. But I believe it. So, that is what makes me make that assertion. July can actually be a month of perfection for you if you choose.
You could experience perfection in every aspect of your life (financially, maritally, spiritually, socially and otherwise).
What have you done today? Sometimes, if we don't give ourselves evaluation, we might come to discover that we have just wasted our day on fantasy.
Here's My Day
In the early hours of the day, still a little far from day break, I had fellowship with my God. That is purely personal but sharing with you could also motivate you to create a time for God in your daily routine. At such times, I usually spend a few hours praising and worshipping my God. That is different from the family morning devotion I observe with my children.
My daily activities are not as one who wake up and gets to office everyday. My office is my church and I have the liberty of deciding when I get there. In the light of this I usually have plenty of time which I might waste away if I don't learn how to use it wisely.
Being a pastor does not mean we are lazy. How could we! We are paid wages meaning that we are expected to work. Most pastors take the privilege for granted. To me I believe I have the greater responsibility among my church members. I am expected to spend time praying for them while they are at work. I should be checking on them by making phone calls and visiting. I should wait on God to intercede for them and receive directions and instructions for them. With many more, the job of a church overseer is equally demanding like others.
Today, I didn't get to the church. When I woke up I went to the farm. Work has been going on there. If I am not around, those who are working might not be encouraged. Besides, I also do what I can do when I am around in the farm. As we were just about starting the schedule of work for today, the rain came. It rained seriously with much cold. I had to take myself back home to go and clean up and have a little sleep (as that is healthy during the rain).
As the rain has ended now, it is about 2 pm. I will be going back to the farm because we had some harvest yesterday (cassava) which some people have come to help in processing. That is the time at which I composed this post for my entry of the reflection hunters contest.
The #reflection hunters contest and the #shadowhunters are among the engagements I usually like engaging with here in the blockchain (though sometimes, I miss out due to other activities outside the blockchain.) Let me invite you to engage with #reflection hunters contest through this link
