Genesis 6:4 (KJV) There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
We have been listening to the explanation of Bro Eli Soriano on the subject of the giants mentioned in the Bible in Genesis 6:4. Bro Eli Soriano, explained to us that those giants were not ordinary humans. He made us to understand that humans who have the traits of gigantism are expected to be weak and unproductive. Such persons can't be mighty and have the tendency to die young.
In opposed to this, the giants mentioned in Genesis 6:4 were strong. They were men of renown. This is contrary to the gigantism which is common to ordinary humans. Bro Eli Soriano therefore brought us to the realization that these giants were not ordinary humans. There were born as a result of the cross breeding of humans and angels.
Bro Eli Soriano took us to the Bible and let us to understand that the sons of God mentioned in that story were the angels.
In this third part of the series, Bro Eli Soriano has brought to our awareness some truths we should understand.
We have learnt that the angels have the ability to make for themselves human bodies instantaneously. They can take up the human body at any time instantly. Angels are not humans, they are spirits. Those rebellious angels took up human bodies and came into the world and intermarried the daughters of men.
The seeds that resulted from the cross breeding of these angels with the daughters of men were the mighty men that existed in the days of Noah. They polluted the earth in the days of Noah. God destroyed all those generations in the flood of the days of Noah.
2 Peter 2:4 (KJV) For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
Jude 1:6 (KJV) And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Those rebellious angels have been bound by God in chains and they are waiting for the day of judgment.
