Protesters were relatively peaceful at the beginning but once the rioters got ready to confront the police, the situation quickly descended into chaos. Since 7/28/19, all the marches have been deemed illegal by the police so all the march participants and rioters were deemed illegal and lawbreakers. The rioters came prepared with Molotov cocktail, toy guns with metal balls, bows and arrows, clubs, rocks, … etc . Nonetheless, the rioters were chased away at the end.
