Lets not forget that cryptocurrency is still a form of digital currency and if the government chooses to regulate it with stricter laws, its adoption will slow down greatly. Nonetheless, given how crappy the fiat system is today, owning a few stellar cryptos like BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH never hurts.
