It's Tuesday again, and that means it's Three Tunes Tuesday #ttt and another day to share some amazing songs with you all.
For this week, I'll be going back to the '90s; I'm sure many of you have heard of the artist Sade. I first heard her song from someone I follow on IG. Funny how I had been seeing her picture everywhere but didn't know who she was. I love how calm, smooth, relaxing, and beautiful her voice is. I think she's a great artist that sings from her soul.
Helen Folashade Adu, Popularly known as Sade, is a British Nigerian singer born in Nigeria and moved to England at the age of four. She started her music career in the early 90s and has been making waves ever since. Sade was born on the 16th of January 1959.
Has anyone noticed how she did not age a bit? She looks the same as she did years ago.
Picking my faves from her songs was a tough one for me because I love all of her songs.
The first song on my list is;
By your side.
I heard this song some years back, and honestly, I still feel some type of way whenever I listen to it. By Your Side by Sade was released in the year 2000. It's a very old song, but it still sounds like a new hit up to today. I love how calm and soothing her voice is. And the lyrics of this song are beautiful beyond words.
Smooth operator
This is my 2nd favorite song from Sade. I read a comment about this song. The person said, "This is the perfect song to listen to when crashing on an island, and you're filthy rich." I couldn't agree more with this person 🤣. The last song on my list Is
I love the intro of this song so much, and the whole song in general, but the intro hits hard every time I listen to it. This song is one of the biggest songs of her career and I think she did incredibly well.
My favorite of all her songs is definitely By Your Side
I hope you do get to listen to Sade and my top picks from her. Bye, for now, see you next week🥰
