To calculate the Magic Number (M) following Round 1, the following formula is used.
Once calculated, it is used in calculating the new prices for the players that played this round.

My calculation for the 2018 AFL Fantasy Round 1 magic number is: 6935.

This is higher than my estimate based on last year, but still within the error margin I expected.
