I am completely uncomfortable with the voting trail. I am not happy about the voting bot either, but not adamantly against it.

When we were having the blacklist drama, the reason many of us were ok with the blacklist was because we understood that we were an investment club who was making money off of our steem power investments. Our investment is not moved or changed by upvotes or downvotes, this changes that.

I very recently inquired on how to become a confirmed member. I own more than 400 tokens and hadn't become a confirmed member for this or that reason. Requiring me to be a part of a curation trail would most definitely make it so that I would NOT be a confirmed member.
