Once upon a time there lived a bear named Trek. Trek was a big brown bear with black ears. He was different and always knew this, but despite all this lived a happy fulfilled life. '' Good morning world, good morning sun", Trek said as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Today was a big day for Trek, as Trek was starting his new job at the new firm that was recently built. Trek was super happy to start today, so he jumped out of bed and raced to the kitchen for some warm breakfast. He grabbed himself a bowl from the cupboard. This bowl was white with a green stripe going all around it. He then grabbed the milk from the fridge, grabbed a spoon and a cup then went over to the table, and took a seat. '' Today, i'm having puffles cereal. My favorite out of all the cereals around.'' He grabbed the cereal, and poured it into his bowl. Then following he grabbed the milk, and poured it in the same manner as the cereal. Suddenly the phone rang. He got up, and answered. ''Hello?'' he asked as the friendly voice on the other line responded. '' Oh hello, how are you?.'' It was Jack the kangaroo. Jack was one of Treks all time good friends, a friend he's known his whole life. Trek told Jack all about his new job, and how excited he was to start. He got off the phone, looked at his watch and noticed that there was only 20 minutes until he had to get to work. All the excitement from that phone call distracted him from eating breakfast, and going to work. There was little time now to eat, and he decided to stop on the way to grab something. Trek was never one to be late for anything, especially something so important like this. He grabbed his jacket, and uniform, and fled out the door like a speed boat. '' I'm going to be late now, never answering my phone again especially if I have to be somewhere at a certain time''. Trek jumped into his car, and drove out of the lane way off to his workplace. He got there just in time, despite him almost getting there after the starting time. ''Good day, you must be Trek. I'm Anna you're boss.'' Explained Anna the Zebra, who was the head boss of the company. '' Good day, yes i'm Trek. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to work for your company. I am super happy to start.'' Anna took him through the entire work place, not forgetting the most important aspects even including the lunch room, where Trek saw certain employees sitting, enjoying some breakfast. ''So Dalia told me you have experience in this type of work setting. Is this correct?''. ''Why yes she is correct, I do have experience from my previous work places. Such as good communication skills, and good with others.'' Trek looked at Anna with a big smile. Anna looked at him." That's great, well we're glad to have you. Here is where you will be working. You're allowed to bring food and eat at your desk, except for when the phone rings, that's when you have to avoid eating or drinking. Basically this is your second home. Please make yourself at home, and we look forward the next many years with you.'' Anna shook his paw, and turned to walk away. Trek looked around at his desk. There sat his work phone, a badge with his name on it, a note book, and a pen. He was excited to start. He put his jacket on the back of his chair, and sat down. Beside him was Christie the cat, Jarel the Crocodile, on the right side of him sat Charles the horse, and Stephanie the bear. He looked at Stephanie and thought to himself how beautiful she looked. ''Okay well I think i'll truly enjoy working here. Everyone seems so happy to be here, and so very welcoming as well. Trek got down to work. The first order of business was to jot down the names of everyone who would be calling. ''There are so many people who are going to be calling an......'' as soon as he tried finishing his sentence, the phone rang. This customer who called wasn't so pleasant to speak to. You see at this company, people called to complain about what this company has done right, and or wrong for them. Trek and this customer chatted for over 20 minutes, and it was a tiring conversation to say the least. He was happy when she hung up, and continued his job until about 12, which was lunch time. Decided since it was a Friday, that he was going to take it easy. He left the workplace, and went to a nearby fast food joint. Grabbed himself some fries, and a juice. Went back to his workplace, and sat down to eat. As soon as he got to his lunch, Stephanie walked in. She looked at Trek, and smiled. ''Hello there, you must be new here. My names Stephanie, and you must be?'', Trek looked shy and smiled. ''My name is Trek, yes I am new here. I just started today.'' They sat there during the whole lunch time break, then the bell rang. Which meant time for work again. They walked back to their desks with smiles on their faces. The day went fast, and soon enough it was time to go home. He grabbed his coat, and left through the doors. Trecking behind was Stephanie. ''hey, where are you going?.'' Trek looked back at her and replied ''Well if you must know, i'm heading home.'' Stephanie stood there, with a big grin on her face '' Well, would it be too much to ask if you would so kindly give me a ride home?.'' Stephanie stood there, waiting for his reply. Trek nodded his head, and they both walked to his car. Stephanie sat in the passengers seat, while Trek took the drivers seat. '' So where about do you live anyways Stephanie?.'' ''2974 Tesanie Drive.'' she said. ''Mind if I play some music from the radio Steph, or do you have a preference as to what we should listen to?'' he asked Stephanie. ''Anything is fine by me'', she smiled, and sat there quietly. The whole ride home, they were both very quiet, so quiet you could probably hear the crickets if you listened close enough. It was quite the awkward ride back to say the least. Stephanie grabbed her purse, and waved goodbye, as Trek drove off. That night when Trek got home, he couldn't stop thinking about Stephanie. Had he found the one?, or was it just a crush. Trek was about 45, and never got like this about women. At least not since his ex. Trek and his ex had broken up about 5 years ado, and Trek had been single for about 5 years at this point. He was lonely, and knew he needed a woman in his life, to make him feel better, and distract him from those negative emotions that he felt, anytime he thought about his ex. He grabbed a glass of water, chugged it, grabbed a cookie and ate that, then went to the bathroom to get ready for bed. It was Friday, so he didn't have work until Monday. He decided to look in the phone book, to see if Stephanie was listed anywhere. He saw a bunch of Stephanies listed, but none popped out to him, since he'd forgotten her last name. Finally after struggling to figure out what her last name was, he remembered and quickly search and found her number. After minutes of thinking whether or not he would call her, he picked up the phone, and gave her a ring. It went to her voicemail. ''Hey Stephanie, it's Treck. Sorry to call so late, but I was wondering if you would like to go out sometime with me. Anyways give me a call back when you get this please. Thanks so much. Bye.'' Trek hung up the phone. Minutes later the phone rang, it was Stephanie returning his call. After speaking on the phone for awhile, he went to sleep. The next morning, he met Steaphanie for breakfast at the local diner, about 5 minutes from his place. Stephanie was there, wearing this dress that her grandma had made her. It was yellow with black flowers all over it. She looked very cute. ''Good day Stephanie, and is it a beautiful day indeed.'' Trek tipped his hat, and they both sat down. As soon as they sat down, the waiter came by with some menus. ''Good morning, and welcome to Shabob's. The towns only littliest diner. Can I start you off with some drinks, or are we ready to order.'' They both looked at one another, and said at the same time ''Waffles, and a big glass of Orange juice please.'' They sat there, and chatted. They ate their food, and went on their way. Months went by, and days grew colder. Stephanie and Trek got married. And they all had a good life.

The End.
