To survive means to avoid a likely death. So there are airplane crash survivors or holocaust survivors.
Getting harassed or even raped sucks for sure. But unless the assailant wanted to kill you, which is pretty unlikely, you are NOT a survivor.
Calling yourself a survivor is nothing but trying to steal the spotlight from actual survivors who really deserve it (e.g. the holocaust survivors). It is selfish and insensitive, so please, stop doing it.
