Today I wanted to give props to someone I consider an unsung pillar of the #steemsilvergold community: .
He was one of the first people to engage with me when I joined, and since then, I've watched him be an active participant in discussions, and also drop meaningful comments on lots of posts around #ssg. But I didn't realize just how involved he is in the community until the other day. I was looking at steemreports.com to see who my top voters were. Lo and behold, was near the top of the stack for my incoming votes. At first I thought "Oh, interesting. He must have liked some of the things I wrote." And I'm sure that's true, otherwise he wouldn't have upvoted me, but when I checked his outgoing votes, I realized he does the same for lots and lots of people. Check this out:
IMO, this is what a voting distribution chart should look like. This is what I want to shoot for. This is the example. Look at how many different people he's upvoted, and that's only in the last 30 days! His chart scales up similarly on a longer timeframe too. Here's the last 6 months of voting from :
But it's not just his voting. He also just ran a raffle to raise funds for the 2018 Steem Silver Round, and has also donated some of his own SBD to the cause. He's also quite a skilled woodworker. Check out this steem-logo display board he made:
That thing is gorgeous.
And so , for being an amazing asset to the #steemsilvergold community, a model steemian, and just in general one helluva great guy, I salute you. And I'm sure the entire #steemsilvergold community joins with me. I see what you're doing, and I appreciate it.
