Thought I'd share a bit of good luck that happened today. My daughter happened to spot some coins that someone had left in the reject bin of a coin sorting machine. This is what she pulled. Can you spot the gem?
That's right, in addition to some Canadian, and a pretty destroyed modern quarter, she found some silver. This 1964 quarter is 90% silver.
Nice score for an 11 year old. It was a good reminder to always be on the lookout. Also a good chance to talk with her about why this one was special.
