It finally happened. After what felt like an eternity of no activity, the alert pinged during 4th shift. It's not much, but it's a planet! Untapped, undiscovered, and ready to be farmed. Initial scans show it has an atmosphere full of O, so it's definitely a candidate for colonization someday. In a few days we can get some feet on the ground and confirm what our sensors are telling us.
It's pretty far toward the edge, but after experiencing the headaches of mining in a crowded corner of space, heading remote sounds pretty good. No matter how far out we push, we can't seem to get ahead of the struggle.
