Actually, it's the opposite. When Hive is low, like now, it's good to convert HBD to hive. Each HBD is worth 2 Hive at the moment. So converting the HBD to Hive can double the amount of Hive which you can power up and increase your curation reward. And then, when Hive spikes, you can convert any liquid Hive to HBD. For example, if Hive goes to $2 in value, then each 1 Hive you convert will result in two HBD. Of course, everyone has different goals. I plan to have liquid Hive on hand and when the value of Hive increases, I will convert the liquid Hive to HBD and then put the HBD in savings for the 20% APR that is paid on HBD in savings. I just have to wait for Hive to go up in value!
