What an interesting question? However, I think the answer is in the question. Anyone that is choosing to have a child is making a decision based on long-term plans. The majority of those children will be in a positive position. The real question should be about society's role in preventing unplanned children. I am not advocating either way, but I think much of the issue is about making responsible decisions. People who do not think or even consider the needs of future children can still produce children.
