I think Hive moves with Bitcoin. I think SPS is more independent since it is not traded on other exchanges. That said, I think SPS has more manipulation and there is a concerted effort for SPS to be pushed down to the levels that you are discussing. I am long term bullish on SPS and I will add more as the price drops.
