This is very difficult to do because from an early age, we are taught that success is happiness. You are correct, the constant use of a measuring stick in our lives against others will not lead to happiness. I might shift the word pleasure to joy, but I agree with your statement. As I grow older I move my focus away from success (as defined by the world) and more to achieving joy (as defined by my soul). I hope you have a great day.
