Hive's price is not very reflective of what users of Hive think about Hive. Instead, the price of Hive is pretty much in lock step with BTC. If Bitcoin increases, Hive increases. You can see that in this post @methodofmad/hive-drops-below-usd0-50-resistance-again-rebound-time of mine. Every once in a while, Hive will spike when there is heavy trading on Upbit, which is a Korean exchange. But most of the time, Hive is tracking Bitcoin. This a real shame, because a very small amount of trading (about 1 to 3 percent) of Hive's total market, is setting the price each day, and that trading is very much related to how Bitcoin traded that day. Hive has a much higher intrinsic value than what is reflected on the external market. Unfortunately, there's no way of measuring or publishing the intrinsic value on a daily basis.
