My Coin Collection #2: Bicentenary of the United States Declaration of Independence 1776-1976
Next out of the treasure chest is Ms. Coin Universe, USA!!!
Funny thing is I just know I have a half dollar lying somewhere but now when I was going to post the coin to showcase my collection I was surprised it's a commemorative one.
This coin commemorates the 200th year of US Independence or also known as American Bicentennial. Officially it is called Bicentenary of the United States Declaration of Independence 1776-1976. Wow so this coin is like 47 years old.

Apparently about an approximate of 280 million other coins similar to my coin was put out for circulation. My coin have the Letter D inscribed below the neck and before the word "We." D stands for minted in Denver. If you see an S, it means it was minted from San Francisco and the one without marks were minted from Philadelphia.
As per my research a few minutes ago, there was a coin minted from Denver to have been bought for $10,000 in 2021. In case anyone is interested I will let go for $2k😜. One printed in San Fran fetched for $9,600. That makes the Denver one like mine more collectible.
As I've said on my first post I am not a collector whose particular with coin details. I only wanted a coin for each country. As I am blogging about my collection now is also just now I am learning more about coin collecting, that's why I'm doing this now too.
As per this post I have shown, Philippines (first blog) and USA as represented.
