Hi! Since the market is not safe to look at right now, a myriad of ideas suddenly flowed into my mind. One of those crazy ideas I have now is, as I've mentioned on the title, a crypto cafe, and I think Hive will be a good fit for what I have in mind. It could be any cryptocurrency but Hive seems like already have an active community and I think this is something Hive devs can easily code into.
I used to formerly run a blog and I think it I called it Crazy Far-Out Ideas That Might Work-- ah! The blogger days. I discontinued that blog series as Google stopped the monetization for that platform. Just when I was getting traction.
Sorry, I digress. So back to my crypto cafe idea. It's really rather simple. For starters, a physical brick and mortar place is needed. Yes, like any coffee shop, this idea of mine will need a barista and some chairs and some tables and some espresso makers and all accoutrements that usually you'll see in a coffee shop.
Then the second requirement will be the crypto part. My idea is like for example, here in Manila, Starbucks are going for $3 to $5, depending on the flavor, and so in this crypto cafe of mine, I would be willing to forego upto a dollar and credit the worth of crypto to a coffee drinker depending on the coffee variant they ordered.
That means the crypto cafe will need an app where customers can sign up and get their crypto cafe wallet. If not, maybe a wallet to wallet would do as long as the crypto doesn't incur gas fees, this should be doable like XRP, TRX. I'm not sure with Hive as I still have to learn more about Hive.
Say I'm the customer and I ordered something worth $3. With that purchase I qualify for say a crypto of my choice. So if I keep buying coffee from crypto cafe, I'd be saving up a lot of crypto coins.
Okay, so this is not a polished idea, of course, as binance is not doing $1 transactions. But probably that's why I think Hive maybe is a good fit.
I think this idea could also be applied to any product. But a coffee shop seems to be a good start as people consume coffee everyday or at least can.
So if anyone thinks this is a good idea, just comment and upvote to get the word out to hive devs.
I can also imagine the crypto cafe will be a place for tournaments of blockchain games or could be an NFT marketplace too. Actually the possibilities are endless.
Again, this is just an idea borne from my bored imagination right now. But if somebody would actually venture in this, feel free to contact me and would gladly help out as much as I can to actually see my idea comes to fruition.
