In this video, I go over an exam problem that Dr. Judy Wood gave her Mechanics of Materials class on February 6, 2003, in which she solved the cause of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster that had occurred just 5 days prior, and months before NASA officially reached the same conclusions. Her students then gave her the nickname "The Disaster Queen"!
