it's a long mountain range - 500km in Poland alone, but they stretch a bit west into Czechia and many kilometers more to the east (Ukraine), plus the southern slopes are in Slovakia. They consist of several mountain groups, each with distinct characteristics. They are not very high (1725m asl in western part - Poland and 2065m asl in the east - Ukraine), therefore safe (human stupidity can beat that...) and relatively easily accessible

It's a 30min ride from the KRK airport and you can start your first Beskidy hike.
