let's add up rank positions (the lower sum, the stronger players - in theory):
Gr. A: 2 + 23 + 6 + 12 = 43
Gr. B: 13 + 34 + 7 + 16 = 70
Gr. C: 1 + 8 + 9 + 15 = **33 **
Gr. D: 4 + 5 + 14 + 18 = 41
