My friends who saw the photo said they had rarely seen me with a face radiating with joy like this. When I took the assignment, I treated it exactly as such - a task to be completed. Or even an adventure - thinking here about the way I picked the van from a stranger on an empty gas station in the dead of the night. All changed when I saw Tomas and the sparks in his eyes. My heart melted.
