A week ago I hiked in Nizké Tatry (Low Tatras) and today I did a similar route in Vysoké Tatry (High Tatras). Both hikes had the highest point at 2044m asl. The difference is that this altitude marks the highest peak of Nizké Tatry but today we didn’t even climb any peak - the highest point was a mountain pass.
Nevertheless, we had a beautiful hike. The main theme was post-glacier lakes. We had four on our way today, each more beautiful than the previous.
