I found today a coffee point that sells „chocolate block”. Not much to do with chocolate (powdered milk is the main ingredient, plus some cocoa) but it brought memories from my childhood. Growing in communist Poland, everything „luxurious” was in short supply. My Mom would make the chocolate block as an substitute for real chocolate.
