The most beautiful scenery on Hive today. My Actifit Report Card: October 19 2024
I dare say that my hiking trip today was the best across all HIVE. Fantastic “Indian summer” weather and the colors of autumn.
I hiked in the Mala Fatra mountains range in Slovakia. You want white limestone on a background of autumn leaves? Here they are. Wide panorama views? Of course. Dramatic drops and long ridges? Naturally.
It happens every year here in Central Europe. The summer ends with rains, cold air and winds. It’s nasty and it takes away any will to go out. But then high pressure system takes over. It brings warm masses of air. It’s dry, sunny and cloudless. And it’s quite stable - it could last for 2-3 weeks. It’s the best time for hiking.
