Sæby is a little town in the north of Denmark. It celebrates its 500th anniversary this year. The town invited Marit Bente Norheim to make a few sculptures - boats. The artist had previously made a Sæby port landmark - statue called “Maid of the Ocean”.
The boats have human faces and interesting shapes.
