Forest, airport and seaside. My Actifit Report Card: August 14 2024
I hadn’t thought I would do that many steps yesterday- it was a day I flew to Denmark. A ride to the airport, two flights with a layover and another ride - these are not step generators.
I started the day with a quick walk to “my” forest. Then I drove to the airport. I used the waiting for pacing around the gate. When I was boarding, I had 10k steps.
The layover was in the Schiphol airport (btw, I bet that if you are not Dutch, you would pronounce it wrongly…). AMS is a great airport for making steps. Gates B and C are in long piers protruding from the main terminal. Long, straight corridors with a few shops. Ideal for gate walking. I upped my step count to 18k.
Then finally in Denmark I spent some time with my Mom. But since she goes to bed early and the daylight lasts much longer than in Poland, I went for a long walk by the seaside at 8pm.
