Nov 1 is a public holiday in Poland and most of my fellow citizens spend it visiting cemeteries. I prefer to spend the day with the Living and have developed a habit of mountain hikes on this day.
I hiked with 4 friends, aged between 35 and 61. Excellent company for 19km and 830m of altitude gain. The weather was very pleasant - 10° and sunny.
I designed a trail where we met two other hikers (and both parties were surprised to see anyone else). No mountain cabins, just woods, the mountains and us.
