My return trip from Strasbourg included three trains to get to Frankfurt and then two flights to get home. Out of 5 segments, one train was cancelled, one delayed and so both flights were delayed. To my luck, all the delays, independent as they were, synchronised in such a way that finally got home only about 45 minute late towards the original schedule. So, yes - Murphy’s Law at work, but perhaps the Law can be also applied to itself?
