Summer thunderstorms are cool. My Actifit Report Card: August 26 2023

When we started our hike today we knew that a thunderstorm would come our way. The question was when. The morning was hot and the air thick. Far away thunders were rolling and we heard almost constant drum roll - far away. We did successfully the first part of our hike, getting away from the thunderstorm. It finally hit us where we are in a valley, the best of all places. We found shelter in a small church.

30 minutes of light and sound effects, an outpour of rain and it was over. We set forth when it was still raining - but the light after storm rain. It cooled the air very nicely and we enjoyed the remaining hike very much.
