A hairdresser would place a cloth moistened in hot water on your face for a couple of minutes. It is no longer necessary. Just take a bath of hot water first. Wash your face in the shower to remove the grease, dirt and bait, which clog the pores and prevent your beard from absorbing water.
When you get out of the shower, pour hot water on your face and put on your favorite shaving cream or gel to keep it moist and warm, and enjoy shaving.
