Ironic as it sounds but any industry that has something to do with soil and planting is not so appreciated here because it does not pay well. Our farmers, gardeners, are the poorest of the poor. This is so bad to the extent that we are an agricultural country yet we import produce, we import everything food from other neighboring countries such as Vietnam and of course, China.
